The UTR Pro Tennis Tour serves players globally at all levels of the upper echelon of tennis. Evidence? A total of 40 current and former PTT players are competing in the qualifying or main draws of the 2025 French Open, the season’s second Grand Slam.

Seeing PTT players compete at Grand Slams is nothing new, though. Recent major championships have featured dozens of PTT players, showing the increasing strength and growing popularity of UTR Sports’ burgeoning pro tennis tour, which is beloved by players for its guaranteed matchplay and substantial prize money.

“The UTR Pro Tennis Tour events are really great to add to my schedule when match play is needed. But they also provide amazing prize money for all rounds of the event, which is crucial to be able to support my tennis,” she told UTR Sports earlier this year.

Aiava, who received a wild card into the main draw, faces No. 48 Dayana Yastremska (12.39) of Ukraine in the first round.

Ethan Quinn, 2024 Hurd Award recipient and former PTT finalist, qualified for the main draw and opens against 16th seed Grigor Dimitrov. Former PTT champion Jake Fearnley also will face a notable name in the first round when he meets Stan Wawrinka, a wild card recipient and 2015 French Open champion.

Quinn (below) and Fearnley both have used their college tennis success to accelerate their pro careers. Quinn won the 2023 NCAA Singles Championship, and Fearnley was a four-time All-American at TCU before finishing up last year.
