Four-Day Pro Events From May 22 to Labor Day Across USA, $450,000 in Prize Money

The new 15-week series of events will deliver $450,000 in prize money and take place at prominent universities across the United States. The series offers five guaranteed matches for every pro at every stop and brings pro tennis to all parts of the country, increasing accessibility and saving travel expenses while rewarding more prize money than competing series.

The UTR Pro Summer Slam starts May 22 at the University of Alabama and culminates with the UTR Pro Summer Slam National Championships during Labor Day Weekend at the University of San Diego.
The Summer Slam will travel to the following universities for single- and dual-gender events: Wake Forest University, University of Tennessee, University of Nebraska, University of Denver, University of North Florida, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Virginia Tech University, Boise State University, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Georgia. Players are encouraged to bring their coaches to UTR Pro Summer Slam events as off-court coaching will be permitted to help accelerate player development.
The series propels UTR Sports’ mission of connecting and growing tennis with an accurate global rating, innovative events, and a global community centered around level-based play. In addition, players will earn points towards the $500,000 year-long PTT Points Race and Bonus Pool that rewards players the more often they compete, along with all other Tour Card benefits.
“The UTR Pro Summer Slam is a great initiative from UTR Sports to give college players more opportunities to compete this summer,” said Kylie Collins, a three-time All-American and member of the Oklahoma State University women’s tennis team. “The locations are amazing and, with guaranteed matchplay, players can actually develop whilst making money.”
