This summer, tennis fans have the chance to see the future's biggest stars before they hit the sport’s greatest stages. On Aug. 29-Sept. 1, 2025, the UTR Pro Tennis Tour (UTR PTT) will host the UTR Pro Summer Slam National Championships at the University of San Diego.

The prestigious Championships caps off a groundbreaking 15-week, $450,000 UTR Pro Summer Slam series of 16 men’s and women’s tournaments held from May 22-Sept. 1, 2025 across U.S. college campuses. Every Summer Slam player must be on a current college roster or be a former collegiate player. Only players who have won a Summer Slam event are able to gain automatic entry into the Championships (see the full entry list below). Follow along for updates @UTR_sports.

Many colleges will be represented on the UTR Pro tennis events over the summer.

With prize money and multiple matches guaranteed at each professional-level competition, the UTR PTT has quickly become a pathway to Grand Slams for rising stars in the sport.

A Pathway from UTR Pro Tennis Tour to the Grand Slams

The UTR Pro Tennis Tour has proven itself as a launchpad for future champions. Many players competing at this year’s US Open have sharpened their skills on the UTR PTT. In fact, more than 50 players in the singles draws have competed on the UTR PTT, including:
