Miami, Fla. (November 26, 2025) UTR Sports, creator of the global UTR Pro Tennis Tour (UTR PTT) and the world’s most accurate tennis rating, is excited to announce expansion that will bring the pro tour to Scotland for the first time.

UTR is proud to partner with Tennis Scotland, the national governing body of tennis and operator of the Scottish National Player Pathway performance program. Weeklong UTR PTT events will provide substantial competitive matchplay and prize money to rising pros throughout Scotland.

Jacob Fearnley, who has a UTR Rating of 15.60 and is currently ranked No. 71, is a Scottish professional tennis player whose career-high ranking is No. 49 and has reached the second round of all four Grand Slam championships.

“I played PTT events at the start of my professional career, and I'm a big believer in the format, with guaranteed matches and guaranteed prize money,” Fearnley said, while encouraging all aspiring Scottish players to register. He is also a four-time All-American from his collegiate career at TCU, and had rapid rise into the Top 100 after winning four ATP Challenger titles in a single year.

“Tennis Scotland is excited to welcome the UTR Pro Tennis Tour. This landmark collaboration, integrating the UTR PTT with the established Tennis Scotland Open Tour, further enhances the opportunities available to our top domestic competitors. We’re looking forward to this first event at the University of Stirling, which will showcase the heights achievable to young players on our performance program,” said Mike Cohen, Head of Competitions and Events at Tennis Scotland.

Fearnley said: “Thank you to the UTR Pro Tennis Tour for more amazing opportunities to compete in Scotland.”

Four combined men’s and women’s events are already scheduled throughout Scotland in 2026, with more in planning. The first combined event (men and women) will take place January 4-10 at the University of Stirling, with additional events planned for Glasgow and Aberdeen later in the year. All of the events will take place in coordination with the Tennis Scotland Open Tour, demonstrating the PTT’s ability to embed itself into existing calendars and increase player accessibility.
