UTR Sports and PacificPine Sports are excited to announce two upcoming College Tennis Showcase Qualifier events, set to take place at the Shenzhen Longgang Tennis Center on September 13–14 and October 11–12, 2025.
The Showcases will provide elite junior tennis players from China and the surrounding region with opportunities to showcase their skills in front of international college coaches and recruiters. This initiative supports student-athletes and reinforces PacificPine Sports’ commitment to advancing tennis development in China.
The Showcase Qualifiers mark the beginning of a new pathway for junior players to compete for a spot at the highly anticipated College Tennis Showcase, to be held in Shenzhen on November 21–23, 2025.
Each Showcase Qualifier will feature 128 boys and 128 girls across U18 and U14 age categories, competing in UTR Verified Fast 4 match formats. The top 25 percent of finishers from each Showcase Qualifier will advance directly to the November Showcase. Registration opens August 1st.
The College Tennis Showcase in November will welcome 256 players (U14 and U18 boys and girls) with UTR Ratings of 8.0+ for boys and 5.5+ for girls. This elite competition offers a rare opportunity for junior players to be seen by college coaches, positioning them for potential collegiate tennis careers.
“These qualifiers and the upcoming Showcase are designed to identify and elevate top talent in China,” said Frank Au, Executive Chairman of PacificPine Sports. “By working with UTR Sports, we’re not only providing elite competition, but also building a bridge to international college programs.”
The Showcase pathway strengthens the ongoing partnership between PacificPine Sports, China’s leading youth sports training and tournament management organization, and UTR Sports, the global leader in college tennis with a proven track record of enhancing recruiting with the gold-standard UTR Rating, used by over 90% of U.S. college coaches.
UTR Sports leads the way in supporting collegiate tennis with tens of millions of dollars invested in new technology, data science, analytics, and events (including camps, circuits, clinics, and the UTR Pro Tennis Tour) to fuel college programs' growth and financial sustainability.
