World TeamTennis Season Opener: Washington Kastles vs New York Empire

It’s mid-July and that means one thing: World TeamTennis Season! The 43rd season is kicking off, with players like Kevin Anderson, Sloane Stephens and Venus Williams hitting the courts for the New York Empire, Washington Kastles, Orange County Breakers, San Diego Aviators, Philadelphia Freedoms and Springfield Lasers. These six teams are ready to battle it out for the 2018 King Trophy named after World TeamTennis (WTT) founder and tennis legend, Billie Jean King. The WTT season opener kicks off this Sunday at 5 PM ET where the Washington Kastles take on the NY Empire at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
