“UTR Sports is excited to be partnering with prestigious colleges and universities across the U.S. The UTR Rating is the gold standard for college recruiting, and UTR Sports tennis camps are the only camps that offer players the chance to improve their UTR Rating through Verified matches. We’re looking forward to another incredible year of tennis camps everywhere,” said Chase Hodges, Senior Vice President of UTR Sports and 23-time NAIA National Coach of the Year.

UTR camps also allow junior players the chance to learn from the best college coaches in the country and experience tennis on a college campus.

The University of Virginia will be hosting four camps with UTR Sports for the first time. “We have chosen to partner with UTR for our tennis camps because it allows us to offer athletes a truly comprehensive training experience,” said Gina Suarez-Malaguti, University of Virginia Women’s Tennis Associate Head Coach.

“In addition to delivering Division I-level coaching and instruction, participants will have access to competitive matchplay that counts toward their UTR Rating. We believe this combination of elite training and meaningful competition is essential for long-term player development. Space is limited, and we encourage interested athletes to register early to secure a spot.”

Added Jan Griga, University of North Carolina at Charlotte Women’s Tennis Associate Head Coach: “We love hosting UTR Camps here at Charlotte for a number of reasons, but the most important, in our eyes, is the unique structure UTR Camps offer. We are able to start each day working on skills development and then put these new skills to the test in afternoon match play. It gives players an opportunity to see tangible improvements on a daily basis, which really helps with motivation and their engagement with the game of tennis.”
