The summer is heating up and so are the opportunities with UTR Open Series events! The inaugural UTR Qualifying Tournament for the Hall of Fame Open gives the winner a chance to compete against the pros on the historic grass courts in Newport, RI on June 13th. Read on for more details!
The UTR Qualifying Tournament - Hall of Fame Open gives male players with a UTR 10+ an opportunity win a wildcard entry into the Qualifying Tournament of the Hall of Fame Open, an ATP World Tour event and North America's only professional grass court tournament. Players will be seeded into the draw based on their UTRs.
The winner of the singles tournament will receive a Wildcard Entry into the ‘Qualifying’ Tournament of the Hall of Fame Open, an ATP World Tour Event, scheduled for July 14-15, 2019. All player entries will receive 2 tournament tickets to the opening day of Qualifying Weekend of the tournament, July 14. Additionally, all players will receive a complimentary ticket to visit the Hall of Fame Museum during the UTR tournament.
The International Tennis Hall of Fame is located in Newport, R.I. on the site where the first U.S. National Lawn Tennis Championships – today’s US Open – was held from 1881 – 1914. Included on the historic grounds is an entire museum dedicated to the history of tennis, featuring profiles on players, clothing and equipment exhibits and much more. Each year at the Dell Technologies Hall of Fame Open, a new class of tennis players and coaches are inducted into the Hall of Fame, joining tennis legends including Billie Jean King, Arthur Ashe, Rod Laver, Pam Shriver and many more.
