Universal Tennis Launches Major Partnerships to Support Tennis Coaches and Teaching Pros

We are excited to officially share that Universal Tennis has entered into new strategic partnerships with both the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) to grow and enhance resources available to tennis teaching professionals and coaches. UTR Powered by Oracle will also become the official rating systems both for USPTA and PTR. PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals and coaches and is dedicated to educating, certifying and serving these professionals with tools, support, and opportunities to grow the game worldwide. USPTA is the largest organization of tennis-teaching professionals and coaches in the United States and the only teaching association in the U.S. that is provisionally approved by the governing body (USTA). Starting this summer, USPTA and PTR members will have access to UTR’s database and can use UTR’s platform to register and communicate with players, create profiles and groups, develop tournament draws, post and submit scores, and compare players from around the world. Members will also be able to leverage UTR’s event management system to facilitate level-based play. The two organizations will also partner on strategic marketing initiatives to support the growth and development of tennis and teaching professionals around the world. At UTR, we’re all about playing more tennis, more often. Teaching professionals and coaches are often the people who are instilling the love of the game for players of all ages and levels and working hard every day to get people out on the court. We’re really excited to offer our technology to USPTA and PTR members for free, and provide the tools, products, and support to fundamentally change the way tennis is played at clubs worldwide. You can read more about the PTR partnership here, and more about our partnership with USPTA here. We love to see how you play! Share your photos to #GetRated and you might be featured on our website.
