UTR Sports, a global leader in tennis and creator of the world’s most accurate tennis rating, is thrilled to announce that its innovative Tennisfest will return for a second edition this fall, and it’s truly bigger and better than ever.
The four-day event, from October 29-November 1, will expand playing opportunities for juniors and collegiate players as UTR Sports advances its mission of providing more competition for high-level junior and collegiate players.
“UTR Sports is extremely excited about Tennisfest because it encompasses so much of what we do and how we help student-athletes everywhere,” said Chase Hodges, UTR Sports Senior Vice President. “From assisting juniors with their college tennis recruiting journey to facilitating collegiate players the opportunity to win a national title, we can’t wait for year two of Tennisfest.”
Day 1: New UTR Sports Division I National Invitational
Tennisfest will open with the Inaugural UTR Sports Division I National Invitational (Oct. 29-Nov. 1), which was created to help DI players stay sharp during the fall season with at least five Verified UTR matches against quality opponents. Already, more than 15 programs have committed to participate. Register now.
Day 2: College Tennis Showcase
On day two (Oct. 30), junior tennis players and college coaches will gather at the host site, the Rome Tennis Center in Berry College in Georgia, for the 2nd Annual UTR College Tennis Showcase. The event will give aspiring college tennis players the unique opportunity to show their game in front of coaches, ask questions, and learn which schools and levels might fit them best. Register now.
“College showcases are very critical, just so college coaches can see how you play, what your playing style is,” said Alexis Gard, who participated in the 2025 UTR Sports College Tennis Showcase.
Brett Karpman, associate men’s and women’s tennis coach at Methodist University, has been a tennis coach for more than 20 years and also participated in the inaugural showcase last year.
“This UTR showcase is probably the best run, the most professional event that I've been to to date,” he said. “The players came here with the right attitude, the right prep. It's been an absolute pleasure to be able to attend this event.”
Also beginning on Oct. 30 will be the 3rd Annual UTR Sports NAIA Individual National Championships and the 2nd Annual NJCAA Singles Individual National Championship presented by UTR Sports. The prestigious events will crown national champions from across the country.
"UTR Sports hosting this event is just a great indication of their care of tennis across the entire collegiate landscape," said Gabe Johnson, head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Bethel University in Kansas.
