Spotlight On: Oracle US Tennis Award Recipients

As we move closer towards the US Open, let's take a look at the standings of the four Oracle US Tennis Award recipients. The program awards two $100K grants each year to assist young American players as they transition from college to the professional ranks.

Danielle Collins (University of Virginia) reached the semis at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic in San Jose two weeks ago where she lost in a hard-fought battle to Maria Sakkari. She's had a great season and we're excited to see what she brings in New York. Mackie McDonald (UCLA) has been holding strong with his next stop at the Oracle Challenger Series in Chicago on September 2 - 9th. He lost in a hard fought match to former World No.1 Andy Murray (3-6, 6-4, 7-5) at the Citi Open and reached the Round of 16 at Wimbledon. Francesca Di Lorenzo (Ohio State) has been making strides in the Challenger circuit and hit the court in both singles and doubles at the Citi Open. 2018 Oracle Tennis Award winner Chris Eubanks (Georgia Tech) had a great run at the Aptos Challenger in Canada. He's secured direct entry into the US Open Qualifying tournament which runs from August 21-24.
