A whopping 22 PTT events took place in seven countries and 11 cities all over the world.

Rodriguez Captures Fifth PTT Title

Mexico's Rodriguez has had a stellar season on PTT with five titles, including one in Naples during the first week over November capped off with a 6-3, 6-3 win over 15-year-old Ariana Pursoo (10.54) on a very windy Sunday.

"I know it’s not easy to play in these conditions, but I think it was a good final," Rodriguez said. "It’s a lot of matches . Overall, it was a very nice tournament."

Pursoo echoed Rodriguez's sentiments.

"There was a lot of good competition," Pursoo said. "Overall, just getting a lot of matches in and being able to learn from my opponents, from me. Of course, crazy conditions

Rodriguez would make it two titles in a row (racking up 12 straight wins) by capturing the PTT Atlanta Women's $25K Hard 6 the following week. She rolled through round-robin action in Group B before winning her semifinal in three sets over Tiphanie Fiquet (10.89) and topping Peangtarn Plipuech (10.89) in the final. The 26-year-old Rodriguez's record in 2021 on the PTT is 39-5.

Fiquet, a 21-year-old junior at Ole Miss, would bounce back to win the PTT Atlanta Women's $25K Hard 7 during the week of Nov. 14-21, before reaching the final of an ITF W15 in Cancun.

Thomas Laurent Adds Two Trophies

In Europe, Laurent compiled a 17-1 record in November, winning two titles in Barcelona and reaching one final in Paris. Laurent, a 23-year-old from Montpellier and a graduate of the University of Oregon, has been pursuing a pro career for just over two years.

He made his PTT debut in Bulgaria in March and won his first PTT title at his fourth event, at the Barcelona Men's $25K Hard 8, in October.

Teenager Keeps Winning

Greek 18-year-old Sakellaridi backed up a big month in October by picking up her third career PTT title, in Zadar, at the PTT Croatia Women's $25K Clay 5 during the week of Nov. 21-18. She went 11-1 on the PTT Tour in November.

The teenager began playing PTT events in September, starting off with a title at the PTT Czech Republic Women’s $25K Clay 3 and grabbing another title in October in Barcelona. Her overall 2021 PTT record is an impressive 29-4.

Zlochova Picks up Titles in Europe

Zlochova has played nine PTT events in 2021, winning three of them, including two in November in Zadar and Barcelona. She's 16-1 this month, with her only loss coming to Sakellaridi in the final of the Croatia Women's $25K Clay 5.

Zuzana Zlochova has played WTA, ITF, and PTT events in 2021, having the most success on PTT.

The 30-year-old Zlochova has appeared in one other PTT final, falling once again to Sakellaridi in Barcelona in October. The year is not over yet as Zlochova will have more events in the coming weeks to run into the young Greek again. PTT events will take place all over the globe in December including in Barcelona, Romania, the United Sates, Mexico, and The Netherlands.
