Registration Closing Soon for Junior Nationals and College Showcase in Las Vegas

The inaugural Universal Tennis Junior National Pathway is heading toward the finish line with players preparing for the Junior Nationals in Las Vegas, taking place Dec. 3-7. Registration for the blockbuster event, which includes a two-day College Showcase and three-day National tournament closes today (Monday) at 11:30 PST.

Sixteen Regional events took place all over the country from September to November with the winners of the 17U and 15U divisions qualifying for Nationals. The 32-player draws are being filled out with at-large registrants, accepted by UTR Rating.

College Exposure

All matches will be live-streamed from the Darling Tennis Center and college coaches will be on-site with the ITA College Convention is taking place just down the road at the JW Marriot. The first two days of the event, which feature team tennis in a dual-match format, will also include panel discussions with college coaches.

Covering All the Action

Lisa Stone, the creator of Parenting Aces, a website for tennis parents by a tennis parent, will be in Las Vegas covering all of the action. She has also provided coverage of the Regional events on her website (a free account is required to view the full stories).

What's at Stake

Along with exposure to college coaches, valuable match play, and national titles, players will be competing for wild cards into 2022 UTR Pro Tennis Tour events. See the full PTT schedule here.
