As we head into a new year, I want to extend my thanks to you for being a part of UTR’s community.
With your ongoing support, UTR has transformed from a rating system to the leading global tennis platform for all players, coaches and organizers. There are now over 1 million tennis players from countries like China, Australia, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Croatia, sharing 10 million match results on UTR. (That’s a lot of tennis!)
Since I joined UTR as CEO a year ago, there have been a number of milestones that we’ve been excited to share and celebrate with you. We released new product features for players and organizers, developed exciting new partnerships, and closed out the year with the California Championships. (A huge congrats to college senior Thomas Laurent (UTR 14.34) who had an amazing run, making it into the final round for a shot at the winner, Sam Querrey (UTR 15.45). Through it all, the most rewarding piece for me has been hearing from you - from players, coaches, organizers, parents and pros worldwide - about the power of level-based play and the positive impact that UTR is having on tennis in your community. Your feedback guides and inspires our team every day, and I’m confident that together we will continue to make the sport we love even better for generations to come.
Thank you for your encouragement and for being a part of the movement to make tennis more accessible, more affordable and most importantly, even more FUN. I’m very proud of what we have accomplished together over the past year and am excited to continue this momentum into this new one.
