Why May Matters
May is the highest-demand month of the year for tennis participation.
- More players are actively searching for matches, leagues, and events
- Warmer weather + seasonal momentum = increased play frequency
- New and returning players are most open to trying organized play
What this means for you: May isn’t just another month—it’s your best opportunity to fill courts, attract new players, and build lasting engagement heading into summer.
Providers who treat May as a program (not a single event) consistently see:
- Higher registrations
- Better player retention
- Stronger June pipelines
UTR Sports’ National Tennis Month Incentives Overview
To support providers during National Tennis Month, UTR Sports is offering a combination of increased visibility, marketing support, and exclusive incentives—designed to help you both launch events and keep players coming back.
Provider Incentive: Build Your May Calendar
All providers who host a National Tennis Month event will receive a Fabletics item.
- The goal: run at least 1 event per week (4 total in May)
- More events = more opportunities to engage players and build consistency
Player Incentive: Drive Repeat Participation
To encourage ongoing play throughout the month:
- One player from each event will receive a credit to the UTR Shop by Fabletics
- This isn’t just for winners—National Tennis Month is about getting more players on court and having fun
What This Means for You
- More reasons for players to register (and come back)
- Built-in excitement and engagement across every event
- A simple framework to turn May into a repeat play engine
What to do now:
- Add your May events to your Digital Club
