HotelPlanner UTR Shootout Series Summer Finale to feature 13 events, up to $10,000 prize pool at every event

As summer winds down throughout the U.S. this month, the HotelPlanner UTR Shootout Series is accelerating with more than a dozen open, prize-money events all in one weekend.

From August 29-31, the HotelPlanner UTR Shootout Series Summer Finale will feature 13 events at top-notch universities from across the country, including at Saint Mary's College of California, Oklahoma State University, and the University of Kentucky.

These open events provide players of all levels the rare opportunity to enjoy at least two guaranteed Verified UTR matches and compete for up to a $10,000 prize pool ($5,000 HotelPlanner vouchers and $5,000 in cash). Players in Delray Beach will compete for an even greater prize pool of $42,000. The packed weekend is part of the new co-branded tour that’s creating excellent competition at its more than 300 tournaments annually.

The University of Kentucky, a member of the Southeastern Conference, is just one of a number of top-notch universities hosting Shootout Series events during the summer finale. "We love providing our student-athletes high-level, guaranteed matches close to home, and incredible players from throughout the region regularly pack our events,” said Matt Gordon, associate head coach of men’s tennis at Kentucky.
