College coaches use UTR Rating to evaluate and discover players for their teams. Be sure you're putting your best foot forward by making the most of your Universal Tennis profile! We have a few tips and tricks for you to help you stand out to prospective college coaches.
1) ADD PHOTOS AND VIDEO
Be sure to upload a profile photo. You can use the media tab to upload some of your favorite action shots and videos. College coaches are more likely to click on a profile that has an image. Use your Universal Tennis profile to showcase your tennis skills!
2) EDIT PROFILE INFORMATION
Include your club, academy, or high school so coaches know where you play. Be sure to fill out all the information requested — coaches want to be able to get to know who you are!
3) EDIT STUDENT INFO TO SHARE WITH COLLEGE COACHES
Add your high school, graduation date, GPA, test scores, and upload a player resume and transcript. You can even include your primary contact info for coaches to get in touch with you via phone or email. Only college coaches will be able to access this!
4) FOLLOW COLLEGE TEAMS OF INTEREST
Now that your profile is complete, use the free UTR College Fit Tool and “follow” schools to let coaches know you’re interested!
