Providers are a crucial cog in the Universal Tennis sphere, creating events and matchplay opportunities all over the world. Universal Tennis is recognizing the latest club, event, and newcomer for May.
Newcomer of the Month: Tampa Palms Country Club (Tampa, Fla.)
The country club hosted its first event at the end of April and has eight more events already scheduled through June. The club is running Junior Circuit events for three different levels from a UTR Rating of 1-6.99. Tampa Palms also hosts prize money events for singles and doubles and adult match play.
Event of the Month: Palisades Tennis Center (Los Angeles, Calif.)
The Palisades Tennis Center held a level-based event with a boys and girls division for players in the UTR Rating 1-2.99 range. It's not just a one-off event as the center has created a Junior Circuit which consist of three seasons in 2022. Each season consists of qualifying tournaments leading up to an end-of-season regional tournament, the Universal Tennis Junior Circuit Championship, in November at various locations based on UTR Rating levels.
Club of the Month: King Daddy Sports (Houston, Texas)
King Daddy Sports in Texas held 6 Universal Tennis events in May, five of which were prize money events offering a total of $7K. The club created "one-on-one coaching" events, allowing players to sign up for private lessons on Universal Tennis. Over 1,300 members are in the digital club and King Daddy has hosted over 135 events on the Universal Tennis platform.
