2025 UTR Sports College Championship: Arizona State Beats Baylor for Title

The UTR Sports College Championship on March 14-16 was an innovative collegiate tournament featuring four men’s tennis programs: Baylor, Pepperdine, Arizona State, and Princeton. Set at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden during the BNP Paribas Open, the event was an opportunity for college tennis to be showcased on a global stage.

Sunday, March 16: (4) ASU def. (2) Baylor, 4-3

After two days of semifinal drama, the UTR Sports College Championship final took place on Sunday in Indian Wells. Taking center stage on the courts ahead of the BNP Paribas Open finals, Baylor faced Arizona State for the inaugural title.

After Arizona State won the doubles point with tiebreaker wins at courts No. 1 and No. 3, Baylor bounced back in singles. Tied 3-3, the championship came down to No. 6 singles where ASU's Roi Ginat closed out the victory.

Baylor men's tennis at the UTR Sports College Championship in Indian Wells, Calif.
The dual match between Pepperdine and Baylor took place at 9:30 a.m. to kick off a big day of BNP Paribas Open semifinal action, which will see Mirra Andreeva face Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka take on Madison Keys.


Saturday’s match will see Princeton battle Arizona State starting at 9:30 a.m. on Practice Courts 15-20. The third-place match and final are scheduled for Sunday at 8 am. and 9:30 a.m., respectively.
