5) Daniil Medvedev (UTR Rating 16.02) vs. 3) Carlos Alcaraz (16.31)
Don’t count out Daniil Medvedev. If tennis fans have learned anything over the past five years, it should be that. The 6’6” right-hander pulls off the upset when you least expect it, including against Alcaraz in last year’s US Open semifinal and against Djokovic to end his calendar-year Grand Slam quest in New York in 2023.
Medvedev has beaten Alcaraz in two of their six meetings, and he’s already knocked off world No. 1 Jannik Sinner (quarterfinals), which snapped Medvedev’s five-match losing streak to Top 5 players.

But Alcaraz has been on a roll against the best in the game, having won four of his past five matches against Top 5 players in Grand Slams. And the 21-year-old defending champion has already dismissed three seeds en route to the semifinal.
INSIGHTS predicts that Alcaraz will make that four seeds by end of day Friday. INSIGHTS has the Spaniard as a 66% favorite to return to the Wimbledon final.
25) Lorenzo Musetti (15.68) vs. 2) Novak Djokovic (16.22)
The looming question heading into Wimbledon was, will Novak Djokovic even play? Now top of mind for fans and pundits: Will anyone stop him from playing his best?

The 37-year-old is six sets away from winning his eighth Wimbledon title, which would tie Roger Federer’s all-time mark, and his 25th Grand Slam singles title, which would surpass Margaret Court’s all-time Grand Slam singles title record.
Djokovic looks to be playing his best tennis of the tournament. He routed Denmark’s Holger Rune in straight sets in just over two hours to reach his 49th Grand Slam semifinal (13th at Wimbledon).
Djokovic's semifinal opponent, Musetti, was down a set and a break against American Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals but rallied with crafty play and exquisite flair (owing to his one-handed backhand) to come back and win in five.
The 22-year-old right-hander is competing in his first Grand Slam semifinal.
INSIGHTS sees Djokovic rolling over the Italian. The Serbian is an 80% favorite to make his 10th Wimbledon final.
