The UTR Pro Tennis Tour (PTT) had another solid month with 16 events in the United Arab Emirates, United States, Bulgaria, Argentina, Japan, Denmark, and the United Kingdom.
The PTT has hosted over 20,000 professional matches in 24 countries worldwide since launching in 2021. Every PTT event has at least $25K in financial commitment with higher guaranteed payouts for players than $25K ITF events. The first half of the 2023 calendar will bring the total PTT prize money to $9 million and events to over 460.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the action that unfolded.
Cardiff Holds First-Ever PTT
The Cardiff Met Tennis Centre in the United Kingdom hosted a men's $25K PTT during the final week of February and covered all of the results, complete with post-match interviews. Part of the Barry Fulcher's Progress Tour, the Cardiff event is one of five PTT events in the UK scheduled for the first six months of the calendar.
Millen Hurrion, a 23-year-old Brit who wrapped up his collegiate career at the University of Kentucky, took home the title. He won all six of his matches in straight sets.
"It gives me a little confidence for sure," Hurrion said. "I mean, it's tough on the tour; most of the time, you're a loser. So anytime that you can come through and win obviously gives us massive confidence..."
Terziyska Wins Two in a Row
In Bulgaria, Julia Terziyska captured two PTT titles in a row, dropping just two sets in 12 matches. The 26-year-old Bulgarian has won 12 singles titles on the ITF Tour during her career and has enjoyed making multiple appearances in the Billie Jean King Cup. She's currently ranked No. 476 on the WTA Tour.
Rackets Academy Hosts Four Events in Dubai
Rackets Academy has become a significant host site serving the Middle East region, hosting four events in a row in February. Players get to compete at a beautiful location, the Atlantis, the Palm resort, and were provided full hospitality. Winners included Luka Pavlovic, Kai Lemstra, Denisa Pospisilova, and Maja Radenkovic. Like in all PTT events, the winners earned $3,600 in prize money.
Rajski Snags Seventh PTT Event
Maciej Rajski, a 31-year-old from Poland, captured the PTT $25K in Newport Beach during the week of February 6-12 for his seventh overall PTT title and second of 2023. He had earned the honor of PTT Men’s Player of the Year in 2022 with 5 event wins and a 38-2 record, picking up $21,225 in prize money.
Megan McCray Reigns Supreme in Newport
Former Oklahoma State University standout Megan McCray emerged as the champion at the women's PTT $25K in Newport Beach during the week of February 13-19. McCray, a regular on the PTT, had reached a Newport Beach final the month prior. It marks the 27-year-old's fourth PTT title, and first of 2023.

About the UTR Pro Tennis Tour
The PTT is open to players with a UTR Ranking of 200-2000, and wild cards can be awarded to those players with a UTR Ranking of 1-199 or above 2000. Every PTT event creates matchplay opportunities for up-and-coming, collegiate, and pro players thanks to a unique round-robin format. At every event, a group round-robin stage is followed by a World Cup-style playoff, guaranteeing multiple matches and counting all results towards the UTR Rating, the most accurate rating system in tennis. Every PTT event offers 4-5 matches and a minimum of $20,000 in prize money with an earnings guarantee for every participant.
