Universal Tennis and Fabletics are teaming up to create a new line of tennis clothes. The co-branded Fabletics x Universal Tennis apparel will have options for both men and women including a dress, skirt, jogger pants, polo shirt, sweatshorts, visor, and more.
Launched in 2013 and based out of southern California, Fabletics is well known for creating fashionable, high-performance active lifestyle products at an accessible price. The collaboration with Universal Tennis marks the activewear brand's first venture into tennis.
The capsule collection blends Fabletics’s expertise in style and performance with Universal Tennis’ vast playing community and knowledge of the sport.
“Tennis is a perfect next step for Fabletics because there is so much opportunity to bring our expertise in design and development to the courts – we’re bringing the best of Fabletics fit, function, feel, and fashion to the sport,” said Kelli Dugan, Chief Design and Merchandising Officer at Fabletics.
The Universal Tennis x Fabletics collection is built for performance, featuring four-way stretch for lateral movement, moisture-wicking materials, multiple pockets, and built-in bras. Players of all levels can feel and look better when playing singles or doubles for competition or just for fun. All of the pieces can seamlessly transition into off-court fashion.
Fabletics apparel will become the official outfitter of staff and officials for the UTR Pro Tennis Tour (PTT). PTT players, as well as Universal Tennis ambassadors and providers, are going to all reap the benefits of the new line.
The PTT launched in 2021 to provide valuable match play and guaranteed prize money to aspiring pros. By year’s end, Universal Tennis will have hosted more than 300 events in 20 countries across nearly 50 cities worldwide.
