UTR Real Story: Dominic Moore

UTR Real Story: Dominic Moore

You might be more familiar with Dominic Moore when he has his pads, helmet and skates on, as a NHL free-agent center who has played for the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs, among others. But off the ice in Massachusetts, Moore has another passion: tennis.
"I love the whole UTR big idea... It gets everyone on the same spectrum and people can have fun competing up and down that spectrum, know where they stand. A big part of tennis is the drive for improvement. That’s a big part of the reason why I love to play."

This week, Moore came out to the Tenacity Futures event at Harvard University and played in the Tenacity UTR $10K tournament. UTR’s Dave Fish had a chance to speak with Moore about his passion for tennis and how it helps him succeed on the ice, noting that the two sports are surprisingly very complimentary.
