UTR Rating events were hosted all over the country thanks to Universal Tennis providers creating events and matchplay opportunities. Universal Tennis is recognizing the club, event, and newcomer for September.
Event of the Month: Gates Tennis Center (Denver, Colorado)
The Gates Tennis Center ran a $30K prize money with 650 players spread out across five divisions, including mixed doubles. The event was held September 16-25th, and the result was tons of great tennis at the facility's 18 courts and 400 new members joining the Digital Club.
Newcomer of the Month: Miami Beach Tennis Academy (Miami, Florida)
The Miami Beach Tennis Academy has hosted three events so far, all for junior players, and is now a host site for Universal Tennis Junior Circuits. Junior Circuits are hosted at venues all over the world and are match-play opportunities for young players to get at least two matches per event. Players that compete in two Circuit events will be eligible to qualify for season-ending playoffs.
The Miami Beach Tennis Academy has dubbed its upcoming Junior Circuits events the So Flo Subway Series, open to players with a UTR Rating of 1.0-5.0, spread across three divisions. Miami will host both District playoffs and State playoffs.
Club of the Month: Centercourt Club & Sports (Chatham, New Jersey)
